k3 works at tank.tech 2022

We are looking forward to taking part in the tank.tech trade fair in Munich again this year. From May 24th to 25th you can meet us personally at our booth number 3.

Reconfirmation of our competences according to ISO DIN EN/IEC 17025:2018

In particular, we have once again proven our skills as a specialist for testing with real fuels as part of the external audit for the ISO standard DIN EN/IEC 17025:2018 in October 2021. Due to our systematic and experienced test execution as well as a fundamentally modernized laboratory, we still stand for the highest level of quality. 

Our focus is innovation and progress. Our constant goal is to specifically develop new test procedures and to optimize already accredited examinations. On the way from the development to the product approval by the Kraftfahrt Bundesamt, we are partners, supporters and companions of the automotive industry.

As an accredited conformity assessment body with "Flexible Accreditation", we investigatively use the freedom to carry out tests that are equivalent to our accredited procedures.

TISAX Certificate for k3 works

With the successful implementation of an "Information Security Management System" (ISMS) in May 2021, k3 works has achieved assessment level 2 of the TISAX certification.

In this way, k3 works supplements the key elements of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard for information security management systems and, with Assessment Level 2, also focuses on elements that are particularly relevant in the automotive industry.

July 2018: k3 works – one of the first certified laboratory services for new revision of the 17025 – worldwide!

 

Just published – and already successfully implemented in our laboratories – the application of DIN 17025 according to the latest revision status 2018.

Within the DAkkS reassessment audit in early July 2018, k3works once again demonstrated its capabilities. Both in the system and in the technical audit, we successfully and convincingly demonstrated our abilities. In particular, the expertise and commitment of the teams are highlighted and the implementation of good laboratory practice confirmed.

Finally, the auditors confirm to k3works that the requirements of the new 17025 are already fully met at both locations and are in favor of the accreditation after revision 2018. This makes us one of the first laboratories to meet the requirements of the revision already today.

 

 

 

November 2017: k3 works at the tank.tech

For six years now, k3works has been regularly represented with a booth at tank.tech. Around 600 participants from Germany and abroad gathered information about the latest developments in 2017 as well. The entire portfolio of k3 works was in demand: from the testing of conventional fuel systems to the validation of new systems in the field of "New Energy Vehicles" to tests of systems for CO2 reduction or for the nitric oxide exhaust aftertreatment in future vehicles.

 

July 2017: Our new website is online!

We are delighted to be able to introduce to you our new web presence.

The k3 works GmbH can still be found at the familiar address; however, after weeks of technical, optical and above all content-based revision, it has now been fundamentally modernized and revised. The focus of this redesign work was mainly laid on the adaptation of the contents to the requirements of our target groups, in addition to the creation of a modern design.

In this way, you can obtain an overview of our core areas of expertise and the performance spectrum without complex searching – whether you are a customer, partner or interested party.

October 2016 - 1st SCR-Forum

On October 11, 2016, around 100 automotive experts from the fields of research, science and industry met for the first SCR forum on the plastic campus of Bavaria.
